Builders Store Card.

Apply for our store card and get a credit limit of up to R50,000* with a cashback program of 3% when shopping online at Builders, Game, or Makro, 2% when shopping in-store and 1% when shopping at stores within the RCS network.

• Products purchased using your store credit card do not qualify for Builders+ rebates.
• Get cashbacks paid into your Builders store card account on a quarterly basis. You will get an SMS with the amount.
• Start earning credit rewards immediately (from your 1st purchase). There is no minimum spend required on purchases.
• If your application is approved, you will receive a pre-agreement detailing the credit amount, interest rate, and estimated interest and fees for a 12-month period.
• You can access cash from your credit facility through a cash advance option if you meet certain criteria.

Insurance

• To protect yourself, your credit facility must include customer protection insurance.
• The insurance covers death, permanent disability, temporary disability, and loss of income.
• You have the right to opt-out of our insurance and choose your own policy with the same benefits, which must be assigned to us with specific instructions.
• The insurance premiums will be added to your account and collected along with your instalment.

Interest

• Interest will be calculated daily and added to your principal debt on a monthly basis.
• If you are in arrears, additional interest will be charged on overdue amounts at the same rate as specified in the agreement.
• If you selected an interest-free repayment plan for a purchase and your account is not in arrears, no interest will be charged. If your account is in arrears, that purchase will be converted to an interest-bearing repayment plan.
• If you fully pay the accessed credit on or before the due date shown on your statement, we may choose not to charge interest for that transaction.
